I have been involved in customer service for most of my career and in hospitality for the last 20 years. I know the difference between a good general manager and a bad one. Jeri is one of the best.
Jeri is a result driven leader and hotel professional. She has in-depth knowledge across all aspects of our business and she is a dynamic experienced operator. Jeri has great interpersonal and leaderships skills and I hold her in the highest regard.
Menus continue to amaze me. Just when I think it can’t get any better Chef Johnson does something even more over the top.
Jeri is a very professional, detail-oriented, innovative, creative, and thoughtful individual. While working with her on several projects that bridged the gulf between “my” nonprofit and “her” corporate hotel, she was/is engaging, caring, and forward thinking. Her ability to think out of the box started years before that became a catch all phrase. Jeri also personified a general manager whose customer service was/is first and foremost in all of her interactions with others...
We first visited for Sunday brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the inventiveness of the menu and by the quality of food. A return visit for lunch confirmed that our first experience was not a fluke. The atmosphere is casual and pleasant, and the service was friendly and professional. In short, this place is a welcome addition to the neighborhood food scene and I anticipate many return visits.
I had the pleasure of working with Jeri for several years. Without hesitation I give her my highest recommendation. Beyond the fact of her unquestionable ethics, she is a strong leader, well versed in the sales process as well as revenue management. Her consistent focus on maintaining proper margins throughout the hotel helped guide the hotel through one of the most difficult financial crisis of modern times. Her focus on quality allowed her to keep her hotel at the top of the Kimpton group of hotels in guest satisfaction as well as enabling to win national recognition for overall service quality.
Great wines and menu. The menu is quite creative, the staff is always gracious..
Jeri has worked with me and my associates in providing complicated hotel and hospitality services at Kimpton hotels in Portland and San Francisco over the last 18 years. She is detail oriented, but knows how to hire the right people and then allows them to grow. If I owned a hotel of any size, Jeri would be my first choice as a GM.
